Student loans can help fill the gap between the cost of attendance and the amounts received through scholarships and grants. These funds will need to be repaid, so we strongly advise you to only borrow the amount you actually need.

Subsidized loans are awarded to students who demonstrated federal need based on Expected Family Contribution from the FAFSA. U.S. Government pays the interest while student is in school. Unsubsidized loans are awarded if need has been met. Students have the option of paying interest while in enrolled in school, or student can choose to defer it. Yearly Limits: $5,500/year Freshmen, $6,500/year Sophomores, $7,500/year Juniors and Seniors.

Lifetime Limits: up to $23,000 can be subsidized loan funding pending federal need eligibility; Overall limit is up to $31,000 combined for subsidized and unsubsidized funding.
